Allan Gray Superannuation launched in 2018 with much anticipated enthusiasm. After ongoing discussions with many of you, we have made some changes to better serve you and your clients.

Updated Investment Menu

We have increased our investment choice range even more. Our managed funds menu has increased from around 70 to over 350 funds. This is in addition to new managed account model portfolio options, as well as an increased range of term deposits. See our full investment menu here.

Changes to fee structure

You wanted a simpler pricing structure. We listened and are pleased to share with you now. The main changes to Allan Gray Superannuation fees are listed below. More information is available in our fee hub or in the PDS.

  • Removal of transaction fees on all managed funds and term deposits.
  • No account keeping fee for investments if you invest only in Allan Gray and Fund.eXchange Managed Funds.
  • Administration fees will now be charged on total account balances, which includes investments in the Cash Hub and Term Deposits.
  • Removal of the Member and Trustee fee as well as all exit fees.

No change to our core philosophy

Our motivation for the development of Allan Gray Solutions was to give your clients access to Allan Gray Funds through a platform environment at a low price, whilst not limiting choice of other investments available. Our updated investment menu now extends our broad range of investment options even further. Equally important is the fact that we don’t, and will never, play favourites. Everyone accesses the same investment menu, for the same competitive price, for the same dollars invested – always. We have always been upfront with our fees and know that flashy headline rates rarely support the detail. This is one of the drivers of our fee hub, which we have maintained to help you and your clients understand the fees you may incur. We also want to provide you with smart reliable functionality and will continue working to roll out new features and technology with our technology partner that will assist you every day.
